Brian Hingerty is a musical artist from Berkeley, California. He currently resides in London, UK. His latest project "Music for Limbo" was released on September 6th, 2024. It was recorded during the hottest month of the year, in a boiling hot flat in London, on one continuous roll of used ¼ inch tape. A new composition was added daily until the roll of tape ran out. The project was written, recorded, and mixed on a Tascam 388 Portastudio desk before finally being digitized.

Music for Limbo was written at a time of extreme uncertainty; an uncertainty that removed all distractions from Hingerty's life. The project was an escape from lamenting aimlessly on the sofa, and an outlet for Hingerty to capture how limbo felt to him through the medium of sound.
